ist die Dachorganisation von Bildungshäusern, Fachstellen und Organisationen aus dem katholischen, evangelisch-reformierten und ökumenischen Umfeld. Verbindendes Element ist die kirchlich verantwortete und christlich begründete Bildungsarbeit für Erwachsene. Die Stärkung ihres Stellenwerts in Kirche und Gesellschaft gehört zu den wesentlichen Zielen des Dachverbandes. Die plusbildung-Mitglieder zeichnen sich durch eine grosse Offenheit aus. Sie richten ihr Angebot an alle Menschen.
plusbildung wurde am 2. Juli 2013 von den beiden Trägern KAGEB (Katholische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Erwachsenenbildung in der Schweiz und in Liechtenstein) und wtb, Deutschschweizer Projekte Erwachsenenbildung der evangelisch-reformierten Kirchen gegründet mit dem Ziel, die Vernetzung und Kooperation unter den Anbietern von katholischer und reformierter sowie ökumenischer Erwachsenenbildung zu fördern. Dienstleistungsschwerpunkte waren der Aufbau der ökumenischen Website als Plattform für Bildungsangebote sowie die Fortführung als verantwortliche Trägerin der jährlichen Herbsttagung für Bildungsfachleute.
Anfang 2017 wurde plusbildung in einen Dachverband mit Vereinsstruktur gemäss ZGB umgewandelt, und seit Anfang 2018 gestalten die Mitglieder den nationalen Dachverband aktiv mit.
